Event Information

September 16th - 19th, 2010

 

 

Entry Fees

• Entry Fees will be $395.00 per Dog. No Refunds after August 15, 2010.

Option Pools

• There will be a $25.00 Option Pool.

• All Option Pool money can be paid in advance on your entry form or you can pay at the sign-in tent when you arrive.

• You may only enter each dog in the Option Pool once.

• Only contestants that enter in the Option Pools will be able to win Option Pool money.

• Payouts will be to the Top 3 contestants in the Option Pool.

• Example if you finished 5^th and the top 4 finishers did not get into the Option Pool, you would win the Option Pool. If everyone entered the Option Pool and we had 100 contestants 1^st place would be an additional $1250.00. Payout for the Option Pool is 50%, 30%, 20%.

Bird Plants

• All birds used for this event will be Chukar.

• This will be a 4 day event. The first 2 days will be 3 birds in 15 minutes.

• Day 3 - The SEMI FINALS will be 3 birds/15 minutes

• Day 4 - The FINALS - You will have 2 runs in the FINALS. Each run will be 4 birds/15 minutes.

Field Size

• Fields will be approximately 10 acres.

Ammunition

• The first 2 days of competition - 3 birds/15 minutes – Hunters will be limited to 6 shells.

• Day 3 - SEMI FINALS - 3 birds/15 minutes - Hunters will be limited to 6 shells

• The FINALS –  2 runs in the finals each run will be 4 birds/15 minutes Hunters will be limited to 8 shells per run.

• All shells will be 2 ¾ inch and no larger than # 5 shot. 20 gauge can use 3 inch shells with no larger than # 5 shot.
