  All of our events are sanctioned by the BDC. However you do not need to be a member of the BDC to participate. If you are a BDC member you will receive points for National and World qualification. If you would like to join the BDC you can go to www.Birddogchallenge.com. There will be no membership sign ups at our events.
Wild West Shootout (Series) WWS
This year we are having 3 smaller shoots. All contestants will be able to earn WWS points. The one with the most points after 3 events will win a beautiful engraved belt buckle.
All of our hunts are Top Gun singles pointing dog events and puppy events. Points for the Belt Buckle can only be earned from the Top Gun Singles events.

All runs will be 3 birds/15 minutes

kind will not be allowed during your hunt or while you
are in the blind. The Judge or Field Marshal will disquailify
you immediately without  a refund.

WILD WEST SHOOTOUT

Sept. 16th - 19th, 2010
 
  The Wild West Shootout will again be held in Dayton, Nevada at the Same location. We will start taking entries June 1, 2010. The hunt will be the same format. After last years shoot we have had a tremendous amont of inquiry for this years shoot.
  This year we are adding another event. All hunters and dogs that do not make the semi-finals in the Wild West Shootout will be eligible to participate in the Outlaw Tournament. The Outlaw Tournament Prelims will be Saturday Sept. 18th and the Finals on Sunday Sept. 19th. The Outlaw Tournament will be a low cost entry (price for this tourney is yet to be determined). The Outlaw Tournament is only open to Hunters & Dogs that did not make the semi-finals of the Wild West Shootout.
  Our host Hotel again is the Gold Dust West in Carson City. They have already held a block of rooms for our contestants and you can make reservations at anytime. Information on Accomodation page.
